hello world this is adam

This mysteriously sentient collection of cells and bacteria is writing about itself, which it calls I, or me, or Adam McKenty. The last name is Irish, but I come from the mountainous, tree-covered, wet, variegated, west coast of Canada, descendant of settlers from Scotland and Ireland and England via Canada and USA and South Africa.

I grew up as a feral homeschooler, raised by courageous and dedicated and peculiar parents.

I work on projects at the intersections of ritual, spirituality, governance, technology, group process, and collective intelligence.

I have no education, but I’m constantly learning. I have no job, but I enjoy the work.
