hello world this is adam

This mysteriously sentient collection of cells and bacteria is writing about itself. It calls itself I, or me, or Adam Francis McKenty. The last name is Irish, but I come from the mountainous, tree-covered, wet, variegated, mostly-liberal west coast of Canada, descendant of settlers from Scotland and Ireland and England via Canada and USA and South Africa.

I grew up as a feral homeschooler, raised by courageous and dedicated and peculiar parents.

I am working on projects at the intersections of ritual, spirituality, social change, governance, technology, group process, and collective intelligence.

I have no education, but I’m constantly learning. I have no job, but I enjoy the work.
